Just for a Moment

There’s a lot of power in symbolism and ritual. 400,000 people have passed. How many others affected? There has been no national recognition of this loss, our collective grief. For just a few moments, instead of people screaming at each other, there was silence. Silence. A moment to just be present with our loss, what has happened in communities across America, moments to open our hearts to compassion. Time to reflect, feel what lies beneath rage. In a sense, we unite in our grief and the hard edges soften… For a moment. A beginning.

  1. Can I just say what a relief to discover somebody who truly knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You actually realize how to bring a problem to light and make it important. A lot more people really need to look at this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised you are not more popular since you most certainly possess the gift.
