The New Thought Walden Awards, honors a wide variety of people in various professions who use New Thought principles in their work and in their own lives.

Eisha A. Mason, master practitioner at the Agape International Spiritual Center in Beverly Hills, California, spearheaded the launch of the first Season for Nonviolence in Los Angeles in 1998. She speaks on race and social justice with fierce compassion and wisdom, advocating for the “soul work of social change,” and offers that all traumas are collective. She facilitates ways to process wounds that seem impenetrable. She assists her students with the often painful confrontation of looking within without blame or judgment to notice their own role in institutional racism. Mason has received numerous accolades and honors including the Courageous Peacemaker Award. She has also served as the founding executive director of the Center for the Advancement of Nonviolence.

The Waldens, initiated by Unity, are administered by a joint partnership of eight New Thought organizations, including Unity, Centers for Spiritual Living, Association for Global New Thought, Agape International Spiritual Center, Universal Foundation for Better Living, Affiliated New Thought Network, Divine Science Federation International and the International New Thought Alliance.
